What is NVDA?
Network for Voluntary Development in Asia (NVDA) is an international networking Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to promote international voluntary service especially international work camps in Asia/ Pacific. Initially, it was started in 1997 by 11 NGOs in 11 countries and now consists of 30 international voluntary service NGOs in 20 countries/areas in Asia and Oceania.
What is NVDA Special Work Camp?
The NVDA Special Work Camp is an on-going project initiated by local residents of Taralga, New South Wales, Australia. The Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife helps by providing the fund for the project. We are rehabilitating a small area of natural woodland, removing invasive weeds, recording native flora and fauna, planting native species to provide cover for small birds and mammals. Also, setting up the site as an education resource.

What are the tasks of Co-Leader?
1. To run the project well together with the leader of IVP and others.
2. To organize common actions of NVDA (such as World Tanabata Action, Eco Sponge Action, creating Local SDGs) during the project.
3. To communicate well with NVDA EC &Secretariat, IVP and its leader, other participants before/ after the project for preparation/ follow up.
4. To make both reports for the internal evaluation and the external presentation which format will be guided by NVDA later.
Qualifications
1.GREAT active member with experience: 1x being campleader or 2x being PV or 4 times being Indonesian coach.
2. Good English is a MUST.
3. Strong Motivation and Responsibility as a co-leader.
4. Have preferably knowledge and experience about NVDA’s common actions.
5. Holding active passport.
6. Interested in youth empowerment especially in environment and culture.
Conditions
a) 0% – 50% of the international flight can be reimbursed by the hosting organization in maximum though the amount will also depend on the number of the volunteers recruited
b) FREE of participation fee. The 50 USD for one 8 days or 85 USD for 16 days ofparticipation (hosting) fee is exempted.
c) FREE of inscription fee
d) Local transport, visa, insurance and any other expenses are NOT covered.

2. Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted for further interview.
3. Selection terms are in National level by GREAT selection team and in International level by NVDA team.
4. Successfully Selected Co leader will have further guidance from the NVDA team.
