Background
Training for Trainers is a capacity building activity to create new trainers that supports various trainings organized by GREAT. In its first year, GREAT has been conducting trainings for several projects and activities. On the other hand, the number of trainers is not enough to implement those trainings.
Goals
- GREAT to fulfill the needs of trainers for internal and external events.
- Trainers to posses qualifications as follows:
- Ability to make training program
- Ability to do need assessment of a training
- Creative thinking (in term of developing method for training)
- Flexibility to deal with the dynamic of a training
- Debriefing skill
- To create GREAT trainer coordinators who are capable of preparing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the training.

Venue: Semarang City (location to be confirmed)
Time: 1st – 4th December 2016
Trainers Requirements
1. GREAT members
2. Fluent in spoken and written English
3. Experienced working in international environment, preferably in International Voluntary Service (IVS)
4. Public speaking skills: to speak in front of public or audiences in term of delivering contents in the training as a trainer or facilitator
5. Management skill: able to organize and design training concept according to the needs of GREAT
6. Creative thinking: capable of developing training method in all trainings conducted by GREAT
7. Interpersonal skill: able to work, communicate and interact with other people both individually and in groups
8. Deep understanding of cultural diversity
9. Available for 2 years ahead as GREAT trainers

Training Conditions
1. The training will be conducted entirely in English
2. Meals and training materials are covered during the training program
3. GREAT will reimburse return travel cost up to 50%
4. No training fee or free of charge training.
5. Participants are obliged to stay over in volunteer house during the training program
6. Participants are obliged to attend the entire training program from arrival and departure time.
7. Participants should bear their own expenses outside the training program.
