About COMnGO Project
COMnGO Project or Communication for NGO project is a Capacity Building in the Field of Youth project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. The idea of the project is to set the capacitate non government organizations (NGOs) to improve their communication skills and strategies. Next is to develop innovative residential. And eventually, to develop an online training modules for NGOs that are not involved in the project. The COMnGO project also offers 3 trainings and a study visit program for NGO staffs, youth workers working for youth organizations and young volunteers volunteering in NGOs, who are willing to develop skills on particular topics.
The topics of each training are Internal and External Communication Strategies, Social Media and Web-development. Now, GREAT invites 2 of its activist members to participate in the Social Media training. In this COMnGO project GREAT is in partnership with Associazione Kora of Italy, ADHC of France, CYA of Cambodia, NGO Link of Estonia, My Small Help of Peru, INPRHU Somoto of Nicaragua.
Objective
Firstly, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NGOs engaged in the youth sector, through all project phases by enhancing a mix of communication technologies and thereby permit the development of the internal knowledge base of the individual participating project partners. Secondly, to optimize the dissemination of experiences and best practice to other NGOs. Also, to maximize the visibility of the EU’s contribution in this area.
Time and Place:
Duration: 14 days
Dates: 2nd-20th June 2018
Venue: Camping Le Belvedere, Lastours, France.
Requirements:
1. Active GREAT member.
2. Holding Indonesian passport, valid until 31st of December 2018 or later.
3. Interested in: social media management, non-formal education for youth, and intercultural exchange.
4. Preferable: activists of GO Cities as committee or members, experienced in NGO/community social media management.
5. Fluent in spoken and written English is preferable.
6. Able to stay full time during the training.
7. Commitment to disseminate the knowledge for GREAT members in local event, enrichment, training, etc.
The program covers:
1. Flight ticket round trip Indonesia-France.
2. Visa fee.
3. Public transport in France.
4. Basic accommodation and meals during project.
5. Insurance during your stay in France.
The program does NOT cover:
1. Personal medication
2. Passport fee
3. Personal expenses during transit and project
Terms and Conditions:
1. The program applies reimbursement system for all fees paid prior to training arrival.
2. The activity will be conducted entirely in English.
3. Selected candidates must pay for Inscription Fee IDR 1.000.000 to GREAT before departure to France.
4. Selected candidates must pay for Communication Cost is Rp 100.000,- per month. The project duration will be calculated rounded-up a month.
5. Selected candidates must pay for Guarantee Fee IDR 1.000.000. This amount of money will be given back to you after the project finished and make report to GREAT.
6. Making a report to GREAT after training.
7. Selected candidates are ready to make plan of dissemination project.
8. Deadlines of payment is to be confirmed.
9. Fully attend the Pre Departure Training at GREAT office in Semarang (dates to be confirmed).
