Background

There are a lot of demands from around the world to conduct International Voluntary Service activity. One of the most wanted program is a work camp. There are plenty activities in just one work camp. A work camp with good activities, requires a good camp leader. A camp leader is very important element to a very successful work camp. IJGD is one of GREAT’s international partner from Germany which has been conducting many work camps throughout the year.

This year IJGD creates a good opportunity for people around the world to participate in the Training for Camp Leader IJGD Annual Program 2017. This training aims to give an opportunity to active volunteers to gain an understanding of youth work in Germany as well as to learn and be exposed on the intercultural learning.  This training will take place in Berlin, Germany with a chance to travel around nearby area to conduct planned activities. GREAT is to recruit one female and one male volunteer, to undergo further selection process with IJGD.  Visit here for more information about IJGD.

Program duration: 21^st June – 23^rd August 2017.

Volunteer Requirements

• Active member of GREAT

• Must be 20 – 26 Years old, on June – August 2017
• Holding valid passport, until at 28 February 2018 or later
• Committed to staying in Germany for 2 months
• Willing to conduct at least 3 international or bilateral work camps with GREAT in Indonesia, within the period of October 2017 – October 2018.
• Willing to be active member of GREAT Camp leaders group.

IJGD will cover

• Visa Application Fees
• Return flight ticket
• Travel Insurance
• Accommodation and meals during program

What must be paid by volunteer

• Inscription fee to GREAT IDR 1,000,000
• Communication fee to GREAT IDR 200,000
• Guarantee fee to GREAT IDR 1,000,000.
  This guarantee fee will be given back to the volunteers as they are back from Germany and have done their report.
