Background

Weltwärts Reverse Program is volunteering program in Germany funded by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and one German hosting organisation, IJGD. The IJGD has been hosting and sending plenty of volunteers during the year and willing to support the program to its best. This program lets the volunteer in Asia, Africa and Latin America to join a program in Germany for 12 months. This year GREAT is selected as one of sending organizations to send six (6) Indonesian candidates for this particular program. Therefore we open this call for Weltwärts Reverse Program – Weltwärts South-North Program GERMANY 2017-2018. Visit here for more information about IJGD.

Volunteer Requirements

Active members of GREAT
Must be 18 – 28 Years old, on 1-9-2017 to 31-8-2018
Holding valid passport, at the least until March 2019
Interested in staying in Germany for 12 Months
Having minimum cetificate German level requirements; A1, or still pursuing German Course
Willing to engage in the activities of GREAT

IJGD will cover

Flight ticket round trip from Indonesia to Germany
Cost of German Intensive Course up to B1 level
Accommodation and meals during project
Public transportation ticket in Berlin
Insurance for Germany
Project material needed during project

What must be paid by volunteer

Inscription fee to GREAT IDR 1,000,000
Communication fee to GREAT IDR 1,200,000
Guarantee fee to GREAT IDR 1,000,000.
This guarantee fee will be given back to the volunteers as they are back from Germany and have done their report.
