Mini Work Camp: Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities
Boyolali, 1st – 4th November 2018
Background
Education is every citizen’s right, not limited to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Currently, Children with Disabilities (CwDs) in sub-district Musuk of Boyolali, Central Java still do not receive a decent education and recognition. In collaboration with PAUD Inklusi Tersenyum founded by Ms. Isnaini, GREAT is to organize a four-day event A Mini Work Camp: Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities. We are inviting youth volunteers to assist CwDs’s activities. The purpose is to help inclusive school teachers conduct their classes, to play with CwDs as part of their daily activities.
This project is organized as part of the Local initiative of 4EU&AS in Indonesia. GREAT is a partner of one Erasmus+ Capacity building project the 4EU&AS, coordinated by TDM International Italy.
AIMS
- To promote inclusive education in Paud Inklusi Tersenyum
- To raise awareness of participants and the people around Musuk Sub-district to reduce stigma and discrimination towards Children with Disabilities.
- To realise one of local initiatives activities of 4EU&AS capacity building Erasmus+ project in Indonesia

Dates: 1-4 November 2018

Requirements:

- Age 18> years old
- Love working for children
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Full time participation during programme
Participation fee: IDR 125k

Term and Condition:
- Participation fee includes: meal and accommodation during program.
- Accommodation will be in Ms. Isnaini’s house. You will have shared room and bathroom.
- Transportation to and from the work camp site is not covered by participation fee.
- Insurance is not covered during the work camp
