About World Exchange: The “Our Migration” Youth Exchange
“Our Migration” Youth Exchange is part of the Capacity Building project “World Exchange”, which includes 4 Youth Exchanges in 4 different countries as well as a training and an evaluation activity for the staff of the 6 partner organisations involved in the project.
This youth exchange will be hosted by GREAT‘s international partner in Cambodia, the Cambodian Youth Action. Activities will include team building, Forum Theater, debates, group discussions, intercultural presentations and dinners, and games, following non formal learning principle.
World Exchange is a Capacity Building in the Field of Youth project funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. The idea of the project is to set the capacitate NGOs to plan, implement and evaluate youth exchanges using the European model for youth from different countries and backgrounds.
Aims
Through this Youth Exchange we expect participants to acquire more knowledge about migration issue: why it takes place, what advantages, disadvantages and challenges are related with migration; to understand the social economy condition that cause migration, reflect on advantages and disadvantages of living in certain area and the impact of migration of youth towards their hometown. Through the exchange we also expect participants to improve their awareness about migration and be able to take conscious decisions when it comes to migration.
Venue and Time
Venue: CYA Learning Center of Cambodian Youth Action, Kampot, Cambodia.
Duration: 6th – 15th of June 2017
Requirements
1. Active GREAT members
2. Age between 18-25 years old
3. 4 participants ( 2 males 2 females )
4. Holding active Indonesian passport, not less than 6 months before expiry date.
5. Fluent in spoken and written English is preferable
6. Interested in learning new cultures
7. Interested in migration issue
8. Able to perform local cultures
9. Commitment to disseminate the knowledge in GREAT members like in work camp as a camp leader, local event, enrichment, training, etc.

Please be noted that all applicants must fill in both forms online and offline with the link mentioned above.
Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted for further interview. The selected candidates for interview will be announced by email enclosed with the schedule for interview.
Term of conditions
- English language will be entirely used during the program duration.
- Making a report to GREAT after the Youth Exchange.
- Participant will pay participation fee IDR 1.800.000.
- Guarantee fee IDR 1.000.000. This amount of money will be returned to you after the project finished and report to GREAT is completed.
- The payment procedure will be discussed further after the announcement of successful candidate.
- Must attend full time the Pre Departure Training on 25th – 26th of May 2017 in GREAT Office, Semarang.
