STV/Workcamp

Short Term Voluntering also known as workcamp is community service that take 2-3 weeks undertaken by volunteers from various countries.  Each workcamp has spesific theme such as environment, agriculture, children, heritage, literacy, etc. 

Aims 
  • To exchange experience and culture, to provide opportunities for volunteers to connect with and learn from the community through enjoyment of local life and exchange. 
  • To provide a lasting change with specialized and sustainable voluntary works that improve the community. 
  • To give mutual benefit between the stakeholder, to empower not only the hosts, but also the local communities especially in depopulated areas. 
Types of STV Projects 
  • International Workcamp: the participants come from more than 2 countries and/or nationalities 
  • Bilateral Workcamp: the participants come from 2 countries and/or nationalities 
  • Group Workcamp: bilateral the participants come from 2 countries and/or nationalities with special project and similar background 
  • >18 years old 
  • Interested in the topic of the workcamp 
  • High motivation for volunteering activity 
  • Ready for manual work (in some workcamps) 
  • Interested to explore Indonesian culture 
Non Indonesian passport holders

(b) Alliance, or
(c) SCI, or
(d) NVDA

2. Apply through one of those partners from the list above according to your nationality or resident country. Our partner will be your sending organization
